Silver is a skillful writer who is able to use mundane events to create a wide range of emotional experiences for the reader. His tales are existential yarns that have wonderful texture, unique character development, and elemental social import. His character description is marvelous. These seem like people I knew through out the passages of my own life stream. He has a curious way of creating tension out of every day incidents and building on it as the stories unfold. Silver also has a gift for being personal and sensitive; yet, he is carefully remote as he spins these yarns and remains aloof from the predicaments of his characters. Moreover, there is a wonderfully redemptive quality to his work, which emerges softly throughout his writing. My wife and I are looking forward to reading his upcoming collection.Product details
